FAQ'S

  • What are your opening times?
    Peak: 6 days a week (Tuesday to Sunday) from 2pm - 12 am We are closed on Monday's. Off Peak: We are closed during the off-peak season and only available for private bookings (Late November- Early February). Please contact us via info@aubasetenerife.com if you wish to discuss holding an event during these months.
  • Do I have to book?
    You do not need to book. However, it is advised to book in advance to avoid disappointment on the day! We will hold bookings for 1 hour only after your confirmed time slot. After this time we may have to forfeit your booking to which you will incur a 20% deduction on your refund.
  • Do I get alcohol for my booth credit?
    Yes, you can use your booth credit to spend in the bar.
  • What happens when my credit runs out?
    The team will inform you when your credit runs out and a regular tab will be created.
  • The slots are showing as fully booked?
    If slots are showing as fully booked please call the bar to check last minute availability.
  • How long can I stay?
    You can stay all day! Once your booth credit has run out the team will inform you!
  • Do I need to bring my own towel?
    We are not currently providing towel hire services. It is recommended you bring your own towel if you wish to use the jacuzzis, showers or sunbeds.
  • Can I leave the venue and come back?
    If you would like to leave and come back you must inform the team. The area will be held for 1 hour only after which you will forfeit your booking.
  • Maximum party sizes?
    Online bookings are set by seating area and the max party size is set to :- - 2 VIP JACUZZI AREAS - MAX 5 PERSONS - €750 - 1 VIP SEATING AREA - MAX 10 PERSONS - €500 - 1VIP SEATING AREA - MAX 12 PERSONS €600 - 5 STANDARD TABLES - MAX 4 PERSONS €200 - 16 STANDARD SUNBEDS - MAX 2 PERSON - €100
  • Do you allow under 18’s?
    Under 18’s will only be permitted at the discretion of management. Some special events may be 18+ so please refer to our what’s on link.
  • What is your dress code?
    The dress code is beachwear. Bring your sun-cream, it’s hot on the terrace!
  • Do you have disabled access?
    Yes we have disabled access and facilities. Just inform the team via mail if you need special assistance and we will take care of the rest!
  • What happens if I need to cancel a booking?
    If you need to cancel your booking please email info@aubasetenerife.com. If your booking is less than 24-hours away please call the bar to inform us of your cancellation on +34 630 93 55 39. Any cancellations requested less than 24 hours away from your booking will incur a 20% deduction fee from your refund.
  • If I have an allergy or intolerance who should I tell?
    Please inform the team if you have an allergy or intolerance. You can send this in advance to info@aubasetenerife.com.
  • What happens if it rains?
    On the off chance that it should rain, we have a covering and plenty of parasols!
  • Do you have happy hour?
    Special offers will be available at events only, please refer to our what’s on page. The normal bar menu will be available the rest of the time.
  • Do you sell packages?
    Packages are available at special events only. If you are celebrating a special occasion please contact us on info@aubasetenerife.com.
  • Can I hire the venue?
    If you would like a bigger booking or require something special please send us an email on info@aubasetenerife.com.
  • Can I use the bar for a location shoot?
    We do allow hire of the bar for those wishing to undertake a professional shoot. Prices start from €500 Please contact us for further information info@aubasetenerife.com.
  • Do I need to carry ID?
    Yes, you should always carry your ID in Spain.
  • Competition FAQ's
    1. How do I enter the competition? Follow our Instagram account (@aubasetenerife), like the competition post, and tag 4 friends in the comments. Bonus entry for sharing the post to your story! 2. What can I win? A sunset hottub experience for you and 4 friends plus €250 bar spend at AU Base Tenerife. 3. When does the competition end? Entries close on 1st Dec 2024 4. Who is eligible to enter? Participants must be 18+ to enter. 5. How will the winner be selected? The winner will be chosen at random and announced via Instagram stories on 2nd Dec 2024 6. How will I receive my prize? We’ll DM the winner with details on how to claim the prize. 7. How long do I have to redeem my prize? The prize can be redeemed on any date from 2nd Dec 2024 to 22nd Dec 2025. Your prize cannot be redeemed on a day that the venue is closed nor can it be redeemed on an event day where either the venue is closed to the public or it is a ticket only event. 8. Can I enter more than once? Yes! You can enter multiple times by tagging different friends in separate comments. 9. Is the competition affiliated with Instagram?
